Chandler, building a real business around your craft — while standing behind the chair — takes a different kind of discipline.
You did that.
You grew a list of hairstylists who knew your name, opened your emails, and bought from you. The business took off fast. Faster than the systems underneath it were built to handle. The market shifted. The pace got overwhelming. And so email paused while you figured out the next move.
You said it clearly: you are ready to take this seriously. You are ready to do the work. You want to build email the right way this time — with the structure, the strategy, and the systems underneath it that will actually hold what you build next.
Most people think of their email list as a contact database. A thing you send to when you remember.
What you are building is different.
You are building an email portfolio — a revenue asset you manage, protect, and grow over time. Consistent sends keep it healthy. The right content builds its value. Proper maintenance keeps the contacts who belong and removes the ones who will work against you.
What makes this a portfolio and not just a list is how it gets built and run from day one:
Building that from scratch is a six-month build at minimum. The first three months establish the foundation. The months after that dial it in, test what works, and expand what does. This engagement is built to run as long as the work calls for it.
It is an active collaboration where we build your email portfolio from the ground up together — strategy, direction, and review coming from me; implementation and building coming from you.
My role is to direct. Yours is to build.
I design the strategy, map out the sequences, review what you produce, and catch anything that will work against you before it goes out.
You own the platform, the implementation, and the sends. That division is what makes this work for someone running a real business.
We work without a fixed call schedule. Most collaboration happens through Voxer voice messages, email, and Loom screen recordings — detailed voice memos and video walkthroughs instead of a Zoom every time something comes up. You send a question or an update; I respond within one business day.
New clients coming in pay the standard rate. Because of the work we have done together and your commitment to building this the right way, I want to offer you the founding rate instead. That rate is locked for the life of your enrollment — it does not change as long as you stay actively enrolled.
No rigid week-by-week schedule. The work is fluid and driven by where you are in the build. The first two calls set the foundation for everything that follows.
